Real Progress For Greensboro

For those who might not know, I founded a Facebook group called REAL PROGRESS FOR GREENSBORO where anyone and everyone is welcome to exchange ideas and or bitch about Greensboro politics openly. Admittedly there is more bitching there than ideas but from time to time good ideas do show up there.

Unlike other such forums, at REAL PROGRESS FOR GREENSBORO we encourage you to post links to your own blogs and websites provided the links are relevant to real progress for Greensboro. No one will be turned away including that whining pussy Jeff Martin, the always nice but non committal Ed Cone or our despicable Mayor Robbie Perkins should either be man enough to join. Hell, even the Bobblehead is welcome to join.

But I'll warn you: Real estate development schemes won't fair well at REAL PROGRESS FOR GREENSBORO as we're not clueless as to the last 50 years of Greensboro's "economic development."

Nothing gets deleted except spam (commercial posts) and things that are so far off topic they simply can't be tolerated. Mistakes will be made, bad words will be said, feelings hurt and people might threaten others. I'm not a cop. If you're scared then call the cops (373 2222) the evidence shall remain. People are people, I'm not perfect and don't expect you to be perfect. Personally, I'd rather know you hate me then think you like me when you're secretly waiting for the chance to stab me in the back. Having come from a much different background than Greensboro's nicer people I find that to be the most disturbing thing about them. In my world we know who our enemies are and respect them for being brave enough to let their intentions be known. Greensboro's polite society is run by cowards who prefer back stabbing to direct confrontation.

You also don't need me to join. If you have a friend that is already a member then that friend can sign you up. I'd have made it easier but as far as I know that's as easy as Facebook allows.

There has been some face to face meetings between myself and others in the group and there's talk of regular meetings. No dates and times have been set but you have my word I'll leave my artillery at home and if it takes place on a day when my meds are failing me I'll call in sick. I promise. Nothing more than feelings get hurt.

Fact is, I don't even plan to run the thing, I just want to report on it.
