Frustrated with getting answers from the City of Greensboro, Roch Smith Jr submitted an unusual public information request asking that the city inform him of all the public information requests open and closed for the last 45 days. He then posted it to a really cool interactive web application that allows anyone to see what anyone else is asking the city about. And anyone can view it by clicking here.
You know, the City really should make this available online every week. If the City IT department isn't capable then I'm sure Roch would be willing to talk terms. Or the local bloggers can simply besiege the City with more and more records requests for records requests.
