Why The Media Cover-Up Of Reginald Demarcus Wrenn?

Update: The News & Record is now reporting that 22 year old Antonio Emmanuel Watkins of 1005 N. English St. has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder for the death of Reginald Demarcus Wrenn. Still, no mention of the illegal liquor house that is still in operation and didn't close for even one night.

Begin original post.

A 24 year old Greensboro man, Reginald Demarcus Wrenn, was murdered on the street as I watched from my window early Sunday morning, gunned down in cold blood by a customer of an illegal liquor house that has been moving from house to house all over Northeast Greensboro for years and hundreds of media outlets report the following AP story:

"GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Greensboro police are investigating the shooting death of a man following a wreck.

Police say 24-year-old Reginald Demarcus Wrenn of Greensboro died of his injuries Sunday morning at Moses Cone Hospital.

Police were called to a shooting at a wreck location shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Police say after the wreck there was an altercation and Wrenn was shot with a handgun.

There were no details on the suspect."

Or this story:

"Greensboro, NC -- One man was killed and another is on the loose after a car accident that resulted in a shooting early Sunday.

Officers responded to Textile Dr. and Willard St. around 2:40 a.m. in reference to a shooting.

When they arrived on the scene, police found Reginald Demarcus Wrenn, 24, with life-threatening gunshot wounds. EMS transported him to Moses Cone Hopsital where he later died.

Investigators say the two men were involved in a car accident, which led to an argument between the two. At some point, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Wrenn before leaving the scene.

There is currently no suspect information in this case.

Police will be on the scene throughout Sunday investigating the incident.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.

GPD"
Both stories make it look like a case of road rage. Only it happened in the driveway of an illegal liquor house. How do I know? I watched it from my window as I called 911 to report it. Why isn't the real story being told? Is it because Greensboro, North Carolina's "leaders" can't bear the blame for their on actions or lack thereof? Is it because, as I told Police Chief Ken Miller Sunday morning that someone in his department is on the take? Every police department has at least one. Is it because the long established system of Institutional racism is alive, well and still being practiced in Greensboro, North Carolina, the city infamous for the 1979 Klan-Nazi Murders in which 5 people were gunned down, murdered in front of television cameras no one was prosecuted?

I don't know all the answers but I do know what happened the night Reginald Demarcus Wrenn was murdered in cold blood and it's not the story the police and the media are telling. Why?

And Chief Miller, if you're reading this, there's more you don't want me to say.
