Attention Guilford County: Greensboro To Annex 73,000 Acres

I made mention of this yesterday in the weekly IFYI from Greensboro City Manager  Denise Turner Roth. I don't usually write about Guilford County politics as I can only fight so many wars at a time but with friends and family beyond the city limits and needing help in our own war against the City of Greensboro I thought I might show you a way we could team up. Click on this week's IFYI to learn of Greensboro's intention to annex over 73,000 acres.

How can county residents slow down Greensboro expansion? Fight it even. Put pressure on Guilford County Commissioners to deny funding to anything Greensboro wants including the $10 Million Dollars the City is hoping the County will pay towards the downtown performing arts center. Anything that gets into the City's pockets will help slow down the advance into the county.

Another way to put pressure on the City of Greensboro is to spread the story nationwide about how when a mostly African American east Greensboro community gathered together to buy an abandoned grocery store on Phillips Avenue that is owned by the City of Greensboro, former Guilford County Commissioner, Skip Alston, who represented that very district, got the Greensboro City Council to give Skip and out of state investors the shopping center at taxpayers' expense. You can read the entire story, documents, video and all beginning with What The Media And The City Aren't Telling You About The Renaissance Community Co-op Part 1 Please, use every tool at your disposal to spread the word and bring down the nationwide media on Skip's back for robbing from his own. Even my African-American neighbors are telling me they want your help as many of them cannot afford Internet.

And remember, while Greensboro City Manager  Denise Turner Roth left work early Friday to enjoy a long holiday weekend and Councilwoman Nancy Barakat Vaughan is living it up at the beach (I've got proof!) The Shit Hits The Fan Tuesday!

You see folks, as long as Greensboro's elites continue to rob the working class while we poor people can't even afford to get the hell out of Greensboro for the weekend we will always hate you them everything they represent. Especially when they brag about it on their social networks.

How do you stop Greensboro? You break them before they can come to where you are. And keep reading this blog to learn of more ways you can fight Greensboro and save your homes.
