Imagine if a City of Greensboro employee
involved in covering up the City's overcharged 457 retirement plan
comes out and blows the whistle on City management and Council
for conspiracy to purposefully continue to overcharge Greensboro employees
which there is now evidence of,
pointing to coordination between Jim Westmoreland,
Mary Vigue, Steve Lester and Zack Matheny among others
to benefit ICMA at the expense of the participants in the plan.
In Playboy’s current suit, the company alleges that defense counsel should have advised it that a verdict against it could have exceeded the $5 million cap on Playboy’s liability insurance policy, and worked to settle the case instead of trying it. Instead, according to the complaint, Playboy’s counsel told the company that it had a 75% chance of succeeding at trial.
