FYI IF YOU LOVE CHICKEN AND POLICE!!

You have not been formally invited or notified in ANY real way that there are two  COFFEE WITH A COP Events in the highest policed and racially profiled district in Greensboro. I know right? I completely missed my invitation, Eventbrite, and Facebook event group page!!
( I've got to do better and not sniff so much methane from White Street)
So here is the tea I mean information.
More "Coffee with a Cop" Events Scheduled

Posted Date: 9/17/2015 11:00 AM
The Greensboro Police Department (GPD) is continuing to host “Coffee with a Cop,” a community outreach effort that provides opportunities for people to informally meet officers and discuss community issues.
The goal of “Coffee with a Cop” is to break down barriers and allow for relaxed, one-on-one interaction. “Communication is such an important part of what we do,” said Police Chief Wayne Scott. “By listening and talking, we can learn about each other, find out what is important to us, and work together to solve any problems.”
More than 35 “Coffee with a Cop” events have been held in the past year.
“I also want to thank the many business owners who have graciously allowed us to have the conversations in their establishments,” said Scott. “They have been welcoming and supportive.”
“Coffee with a Cop” events are:
  • Sunday, September 20, from 3 -5 pm at Geeksboro Coffeehouse Cinema, 2134 Lawndale Dr., with Corporal Ryan Todd
  • Monday, September 28, from 7-9 am at Bojangles, 1100 E. Bessemer Ave., with Officer Doug Campbell
  • Monday, October 12, from 8-9:30 am at Scuppernong Books, 304 S. Elm St., with Chief Wayne Scott
  • Tuesday, November 24, from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Manny’s Universal Café, 321 MLK Jr. Dr., with Chief Wayne Scott
  • Thursday December 17, from 8-9:30 am at Caribou Coffee, 3109 Northline Ave., with Chief Wayne Scott
“Coffee with a Cop” is a national initiative supported by the US Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing by improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time. Similar events are held across the county.
Flyers and dates for the events will be posted on GPD's Facebook site

SO LET ME GET THIS STR8! ( shakes Nancy Vaughn look a like wig bought on EBAY)
All the flyers and dates for the events will be posted on Greensboro Police Department Facebook?????
??SERIOUSLY??
WHO DA HELL in East Greensboro follows DA POLICE???   in their car? twitter? Facebook? Snapchat? Tumbler? ChristianMingle?
That's right I used improper English because this is GPD fuckery @ it's best! I feel that I can say that MOST residents of East Greensboro want LESS encounters with the police.
Period! (of course Jamal I left you out of that)
And judging by the advertisement the police feel the same damn way!
And then WHO DA HELL wants to meet at Bojangles ?? of all places you pick a stereotypical fast food business that targets minorities???
( AKA Black People) that sells chicken and biscuits AND U EXPECT to talk to black people about breaking down barriers?? Improving relationships?? Why not the ICRM?? CITY HALL?? KICKBACK CAFE?? DYNACON CENTER? LIBRARY? HELL EVEN JAMAL FOX 'S HOUSE
( Nevermind all Jamal's campaign events will only be in District 1)
And then these hours.... 7 to 9 am? I'm usually.......
( Getting my daughter ready and myself to commute 25 min one way because East Greensboro is a no job over $10 an hour desert)
And 11:30 to 1pm on MLK? Even the prostitutes on MLK aren't up that early!! I digress SMH! GPD you want East Greensboro to respond and have positive dialogue?? And start the process of attempting to build mutual respect?? Then you pick a location that shows you think
LESS of US and OUR CHILDREN than chicken and biscuits.
You don't go to Bojangles for a Business meeting!!!
GPD choose an appropriate facility that is equipped to facilitate positive interactions and dialogue, zero stereotypes, and shows GPD, that East Greensboro's thirst for equality and freedom from police has nothing to do with CHICKEN EXCEPT the CHICKEN'S who profile our black and brown men and women, our fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, without provocation, and without just cause!
NOW! YOU WANT JELLY WITH THAT?
