...WHEREAS, Downtown BID property owners currently pay approximately $600,000 annually into a municipal service district tax fund that may be used for the specific purpose of service and/or property improvement enhancements within the BID; and
...WHEREAS, a selection committee recommended the contractor Downtown Greensboro, Inc, a non-profit corporation, for contract award based on their conformance to the selection criteria defined in the Request for Proposals and the best value standard of award; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Department and Centralized Contracting Division concur in their recommendation to award this contract # 2016-10447 for Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Services to Downtown Greensboro, Inc. for an estimated amount of $600,000
annually for a three year period...
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENSBORO:
That the resolution authorizing contract # 2016-10447 for Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Services to Downtown Greensboro, Inc. is hereby approved."
