Thoughts on the Lake Jeanette and Buffalo sale; How the new owners may cash in

A little bird threw out the idea of back filling land from the highway coming through or otherwise into Buffalo Lake on the Cone Blvd. side to build lakefront town-homes and retail/restaurant/coffee shop etc... type places like the new strip on Lawndale by Kirkwood across from Target and the old Sears Goliath.

A big chunk of Lake Jeanette waterfront may be sold to a family next to the lake but on the wrong side of the pipeline going over, which apparently wasn't allowed access before.

If some of all the 'properties' sold for $850,000 end up being closely fit residential and commercial, the return on investment seems likely.

They could allow development out into the water.

Marty Kotis could put in a beach for swimming and an extended dock at what may be a new Darrel's where Ham's Lakeside and all the other failed restaurants at the site were named etc..., after he let's a charter school be built within spitting distance of a bunch of homeless sex offenders.

Funny how Mike Barber came out so strongly against Marty's interests.  Barber may be the only City Council member in Greensboro who didn't get one of Kotis' legal bribes.

Swimming and docks should be allowed on Lake Jeanette.

Let them have at it before the music dies.
