I've no way of knowing who makes up the membership of TREBIC (Triad Real Estate & Building Industry Coalition) but it's pretty easy to see that the business practices of Gentco Real Estate, who are said to be the owners of Cascades Grandview according to the News & Record, are in accordance with other TREBIC members who apparently lobbied illegally at the State level to bring about the overturn of RUCO (Rental Unit Certificate of Occupancy) here in Greensboro and are now being investigated by NC House Of Representatives District 57, Pricey Harrison.
Is or were Gentco Real Estate members of TREBIC? I have no idea but these are exactly the kinds of business practices TREBIC promotes when they push for laws that make it easier for slum lords to do business in North Carolina and this is the reason TREBIC must fall. I call on all honest developers, contractors and realtors to leave TREBIC immediately and leave Roy Carroll, Robbie Perkins and their ilk to their own devices. Or risk going down with them.

It may well be the very act of attending Pig, Poultry & Politics is in violation of Federal Campaign Finance Laws. Think about it.
Also, are you aware that if TREBIC is violating Federal Campaign Finance Laws then you are going to end up owing back taxes on donations and membership dues you've paid to TREBIC over the course of the last 13 years? Considering the current economic situation I wouldn't want to risk adding to those numbers, would you? Let Roy and Robbie dig their own way out. They're not making the payments on your loans, you are. And have you noticed how they always manage to profit no matter who gets the contract? You're being played just like the taxpayers are being played and the whole county is laughing at you.
