WFMY News2 interviews Devin King and Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan.

I've got a question for Mayor Nancy Vaughan that Devin King shouldn't have to address: Mayor Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan, you've been on City Council for over a decade, you've been mayor for 2 years: everything that is discussed in this interview has been a problem for years and years, I have personally discussed these problems with you sitting in a booth at Bernie's BBQ on East Bessemer Avenue when you were hoping to get my support to become the Mayor of Greensboro the first time: NOW WHY IN THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE NOTHING ABOUT ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS?

Maybe It's Just Coincidence But...

Of course by now you've already heard that former Greensboro City Councilman and current head of Downtown Greensboro Inc was arrested early this morning for driving while intoxicated. Already sources are telling me there's more to the story than Fox8 is telling us and you can bet we here at EzGreensboro.com will get you all the embarrassing parts the "real" media won't tell you.

"The vehicle was parked and running in the parking lot of the former Harris Teeter on North Church Street and East Cone Boulevard in Greensboro at 3:40 a.m. Friday morning, Danielsen said."

You know, like how Zack actually ran off the road and into the parking lot after passing out while driving at 3 times the legal limit for alcohol consumption. Or so we've been told by sources close to the Greensboro Police Department. The actual numbers will be in the police reports we'll show you as soon as they show us.

Speaking of police reports I've got another interesting police report to show you today.

Remember how On Tuesday I asked, I asked Why Is Joe Killian Of The News & Record Covering Up Devin King's Near Fatal Accident?  And on Wednesday I proved Joe Killian knew of Devin King's "accident" and lied as to why he never covered the story in my post  Joe Killian And The Dark Money Trail?

Well today I give you Sal Leone's near fatal accident report in which a woman named Jessica Suzanne Craven crashed first into a motorcycle then into Greensboro Mayoral Candidate Sal Leone driving Sal's Honda under the side of a tractor-trailer as reported without much detail by none other than Joe Killian, aka Joseph Fredrick Wilbur,  of the Greensboro News & Record.

Now in my post Was Devin King's "Accident" Attempted Murder? I mentioned possible connections to Marty Kotis who has contributed large sums of money to Mayor Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan's reelection campaign. Well it just so happens there's a connection to Marty Kotis in Sal's "accident" as well.

It just so happens that Jessica Suzanne Craven works for none other than John Hardister at First Carolina Mortgage and our boy Marty, aka William Marshall Kotis, III, just happens to be a very big contributor to the John Hardister political campaign.

Now that is not to say that John Hardister is in any way involved. I'm just making the point that Marty Kotis and Jessica Craven may well be acquainted. After all, First Carolina Mortgage only has one location.

And attempts to get in touch with Ms Craven by Mr Leone's insurance company have been unsuccessful. It's as if she skipped the country.

Was Devin King's "Accident" Attempted Murder?

One Tuesday I asked, I asked Why Is Joe Killian Of The News & Record Covering Up Devin King's Near Fatal Accident?  On Wednesday I proved Joe Killian knew of Devin King's "accident" and lied as to why he never covered the story in my post  Joe Killian And The Dark Money Trail.

I also exposed Greensboro Mayor Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan for illegal campaign contributions made possible by her husband Donald Vaughan.

Today we look into the police report of Devin King's accident.

But before we do that let's look at some of the suspicious things leading up to and surrounding Devin King's accident.

For starters there was an online fight earlier in the day between Devin King and Marty Kotis. The last time Marty Kotis is known to have gotten into an online fight he drove to the business owned by Jeff and Jody Martin and got into an altercation with Mr Martin there. Mr Kotis called police claiming that Jeff Martin tried to run him down with his car but perhaps Jeff Martin was just trying to get away. You see, Marty was quite successful as a kickboxer in his youth and cannot stand to lose.

Then there's Marty's dear friend Nancy Vaughan. When Nancy wanted the following check which connects her and her husband to Heritage House removed from this very blog she didn't call me. On no, she contacted Marty to set up a meeting with me.

And that check I spoke of? The address you'll see on the check just happens to be inside the same building as Donald R. Vaughan & Associates:

You see, if you click over to the Guilford County Real Property Search and search for 614 W Friendly Ave you'll find no such listing. Neither the property nor the building exist. But there is a property at 612 W Friendly Ave that belongs to VM LLC.

Next stop, the NC Secretary of State Corporation Search where we discover that VM LLC is owned by Donald Vaughan and Paul Mengurt.

Who is Paul Mengurt? That would be Paul K Mengurt of Association Management Group, one of the companies that managed Heritage House as evidenced by the check written from Mengurt's office but never reported by any of our local main stream media outlets.

And it just so happens 612 W Friendly Ave is also the address of Donald Vaughan & Associates.

Now you know why Nancy Vaughan wanted me to remove certain blog posts from my blog and why she asked Marty Kotis to help her set up such a meeting in the offices of Kotis Properties.

And could the fact that I long ago put those blog posts back online because Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan didn't uphold her promise to me to fully fund the Renaissance Community Co-op that Nancy might be getting nervous that the we little ants in east Greensboro just might unite against her with the we little ants in west Greensboro to vote for anybody but Nancy?

I mean, I don't know but sources close to Nancy keep telling me she is currently at the end of her chain and they're even scared to feed her. I mean, seriously, all it would take is for just one main stream media outlet to break the code of silence, write about the mystery check and Devin King would be our next mayor.

So do I think Marty Kotis tried to kill Devin King? I wasn't there, I don't know. Do I think Nancy Barakat Vaughan paid someone to take Devin out? Again, same answer.

But if you tried to contact Devin King while he was in Cone Hospital they told you he was never there. Hospitals do that when police departments tell them their patient is possibly a victim of an attempted murder. Makes it harder for the killer to go back and finish the job when he or she has to actually search hundreds of hospital rooms to find the right victim.

Finally, after 11 days Joe Killian blogged about Devin's "accident."

 And then there's the crash report I promised. For starters: GPD crash reports are encoded. Without the code you really can't make heads or tails of them. So here's a link to the book containing all the codes.

And here's a link to the accident report as filled out by GPD officer M D Royal.

Study the codes, read the accident reports then ask yourself, how many thousands of cars traveled that section of I-40 at 55 miles per hour and faster in the previous 24 hours without spinning out of control?  As a matter of fact, the police report filled out by officer M D Royal makes no mention of any reason for Devin's "loss of control." No alcohol, no drugs, no defects to the car and the car spins 180 degrees and leaves the road backwards? He just notes that the Interstate was wet.

Any why did it take Joe Killian 11 days, 2 online scoldings and being proved to be a liar to post the story to his blog but still not write an article in the newspaper? Perhaps someone should go out and crash into Mayor Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan and see how long it takes the N&R and the rest of our local media to make it a front page story.

You know, just for the sake of comparison.

Joe Killian And The Dark Money Trail

Yesterday I asked Why Is Joe Killian Of The News & Record Covering Up Devin King's Near Fatal Accident?  I just couldn't understand why 9 days had passed with nary a word in the News & Record about Devin King's accident. And today makes the 10th day I've been unable to find any story concerning Devin King's accident.

We finally got Joe Killian to explain himself yesterday:

Substantiate? How about you pull the police report Joe? That's how real reporters do it.

Photographs? The News & Record doesn't employ photographers any more? I see photographs in the News & Fishwrap every day credited to staff photographers.

Unable to get in contact with Mr King? Did you try Cone fucking Hospital? That's where Devin King has been most of the time since his accident and no he does not have a broken neck and is expected to make a full recovery if henchmen working for Marty Kotis and Mayor Vaughan don't kill him first.

Besides, don't we read news articles about accidents every day in which the victims were never interviewed? You're damned straight we do!  As a matter of fact here is a link to 1 full year of wreck reporting by the News & Record proving Joe Killian is full of shit!

By the way, for those of you who called Cone Hospital and were told there was no Devin King registered there. And several of you told me you did.  That is common practice when Greensboro Police believe someone has been the victim of an attempted murder. Or in this case, an attempted political assassination.

Joe Killian, aka Joseph Fredrick Wilbur, is deliberatly hiding the story of Devin King's "accident" why? Police reports indicate the road was dry, Devin was driving 55 miles per hour on Interstate 40 near Colliseum Blvd when apparently for no reason police can explain the car spun around backwards, left the road in reverse and slammed into a sign.

But the rear bumper cover-- a key piece of evidence-- remains missing and despite the fact that I have contacted the entire city council, city manager and police attourny no one will talk about it. Could it be they're all trying to make sure nothing gets in the way of Nancy Barakat "Grasshopper" Vaughan's reelection? Is Joe Killian and the News & Record in on it too?

I know, it's too many people for a conspiracy but it's not a conspiracy. It's people doing what they're told because they haven't the balls to do otherwise. Pathetic little people more concerned with paychecks than the common good.

And liberals and conservatives alike wonder why the world is so fucked up.

Then there's the trail of dark money Joe Killian will never report. What dark money is that, you ask.

Well it seems out retired State Senator Donald Vaughan is still raking in campaign contributions despite the fact that he's not planning to run for office. And who did the News & Record report as the largest contributor to Mayor Nancy Vaughan's reelection campaign? None other than her husband Donald Vaughan.

Now why does Don Vaughan need campaign contributions if he's retired?  The answer, he doesn't. The real answer is in this article from Triad City Beat:

" She received the biggest gift from her husband. Don Vaughan, a lawyer and former Democratic state senator, kicked in $2,861, including $325 in-kind in the form of beer, wine and setup for a fundraiser."

Looks as if Donald Vaughan didn't contribute so much to wife Nancy's reelection campaign after all. If only Eric Ginsburg and the rest of Greensboro's main stream media were smart enough to figure it out.

And about that in-kind contribution: Does Donald Vaughan own a bar or beer and wine distributor that has never before been made public? Because in-kind contributions usually come from inventories that companies have on hand. Looks like a job for a journalist-- too bad Greensboro has none.

On October 4 Devin King's mother posted the following to Facebook:

Ms King is Devin King's mother. For those who don't know, Devin King is running for Mayor of Greensboro having beat out Sal Leone in the primary. On October 5 I posted the following to Facebook as a joke.

But the fact is, Sal Leone really did have a life threatening wreck, Joe Killian blogged it and I've got the accident report. What Joe Killian didn't report is that after Sal crawled out the back window of his car because the front of his car was jammed shut after being smashed under the tractor-trailer he rendered first aid to the motorcyclist saving his life. And Sal just blew it off telling me, "That's what cops are trained to do."


On October 8 Devin King posted the following to his Facebook page. Here we establish that Joe Killian of the News & Record has knowledge of the accident.

 I watched the News & Record but nary a word was reported day after day after day. 9 days and counting and not a word has been written about Devin King's nearly fatal accident in which Greensboro Police cannot explain, find no fault on the part of Mr King and say neither speed nor weather nor operator error are contributing factors.

And no one can explain what happened to the missing rear bumper cover-- the one piece of evidence that might tell all.

Mayoral Candidate Devin King "promises better-paying jobs"

"My name is Devin King and I am running for mayor of Greensboro. I am a 27-year-old with two jobs, one as a certified nursing assistant. Caring for the sick, mentally ill and elderly while living in poverty provides a perspective of standards of living most take for granted. My amazing spouse Bernadette works in both child care and retail. We have a 5-year-old son.
