My N&R LTE

I don't know if the News & Record will publish my response to Daniel Craft's Letter to the editor yesterday so I'm posting it here so that at least a few will read it.

In response to Daniel Craft's LTE I thought it time we get a few things straight: Jobs, jobs, jobs, minimum wage jobs downtown and not where people live, in a $60 Million Dollar monument to Greensboro’s elite. Good job, Mr Craft, you made your point, it’s about jobs. And culture that those who fill those jobs will never be able to afford to enjoy.

Go ahead and build your downtown performing arts center, build it with private money if you like. And remember: when the young people who fill those minimum wage jobs leave Greensboro to fulfill their dreams in cities offering real opportunity, you and those like you have only yourselves to blame.

Game changer? You bet.
