Ben Holder is reporting that Isa Hassan Abuzuaiter, husband of Councilwoman Marikay Abuzuaiter, has been charged with speeding 51mph in a 35mph zone, 2 counts of possession of a concealed gun and possession of a stolen firearm.
I'm not surprised that Isa Abuzuaiter would be carrying a concieled weapon as he owns multiple businesses that deal in large amounts of cash and is subject to robbery. I wonder if he has a current CCW (Conceiled Carry Weapons) permit. The stolen firearm is of great concern.
Full disclosure: I know Isa and Ben and think them both good guys but I know nothing more about this incident than Ben is reporting.
