The Greensboro City Council will be voting tonight on a $1.9 Million Dollar Grant to build a downtown Wyndham Hotel being developed by Milton Kern and Randall Kaplan who currently owe $78,856.58 in delinquent property taxes on the very property in question.
Also of note is the fact that Wyndham is the largest sponsor of First Tee Triad of which Greensboro City Councilman, Mike Barber is President and CEO.
Will Wyndham sponsorship effect Mike Barber's vote tonight? If you were in charge of such an organization would you not fear that a no vote on City Council might cost First Tee its sponsorship and force them to go scrambling for new sponsors at a time when money is very hard to come by?
