Maybe Zack Matheny Was Lying

Recently myself and others attended a City Council business meeting in which George Hartzman presented to City Council a means by which city employees could receive higher retirement packages at no higher costs to the taxpayers and no more risk than they already have.

John Hammer of the Rhino Times and Councilman Zack Matheny accused Mr Hartzman of trying to make money off the city and said his figures were incorrect. Here at EzGreensboro.com we decided to get answers.

The response to Public Information Request 4404 produced the following reply:

Councilman Matheny failed to produce any documentation to support his claim that George Hartzman's math was incorrect, no documents are available, no records in response to the request. And yet John Hammer of the Rhino times and Councilman Zack Matheny both claim George Hartzman is lying.

As was pointed out during that very meeting, Zack Matheny used to work with George Hartzman at Wachovia selling 457 Plans-- if anyone in the room was qualified to comment it was Mr Matheny but during the meeting Zack never questioned Mr Hartzman's presentation. It was only after John Hammer slammed Mr Hartzman in the Rhino that Zack came out against George. And yet Zack still can't produce documentation.

Why? Because Roy didn't think of that when he gave Zack his marching orders.

Are you beginning to see through this now? Since being bought by Roy Carroll, who now owns the Rhino Times, John Hammer has become a shill for City Council members who are running Greensboro just the way Roy wants them to continue running Greensboro and John will write any lie to discredit Roy's opponents even if it costs Roy nothing.

Attached Document

So here's a question for you, Dear Readers to ponder: The attached document is an invoice from AON Consulting to the City of Greensboro for a total of $6,640.55 for services provided-- consulting services concerning the City's 457 retirement plans. So why are there no documents to show for the billing?

It would appear we have touched upon a scandal that is costing City of Greensboro employees hundreds of thousands if not Millions in retirement dollars.

And City Council members are working with local media to keep it covered up.

Show us the documents. Show us the video from the City Council business meeting.
