Now documents prepared by the City of Greensboro on July 1st and published by Triad City Beat prove that the City of Greensboro knew the numbers all along while Mayor Vaughan and the rest of Council continued their cries of racism the redistricting actually adds more minority voting power to the Greensboro City Council than ever before.
The charges of racism are lies. Nancy Barakat Vaughan and the Greensboro City Council have lied to Greensboro voters to save their seats. They have responded to Trudy Wade's acts of tyranny with acts of tyranny. To substitute one tyrant for another is to be no better off than before. They do not deserve to be reelected.
If nothing else, Senator Wade has proven our current Mayor and City Council unworthy of public office at any level.
