In Greensboro's case, my neighbors were convinced by the News and Record and the Rhino Times to vote for those who give some of everyone else's oranges to campaign contributors and 'friends of the elected' while lying to readers who think they are paying for honest information from non-biased sources.
And overwhelmingly most of my neighbors don't know how crooked our City's connected are as our local press is in on it.

You didn't inform the public City Council decided to cover/guarantee $3.5 million yet to be donated by the private sector.
You didn't tell anyone the math Walker Sanders and Nancy Barakat Vaughan came up with was garbage, which it was/is, especially the extra VIP parking revenue utter nonsense.
You didn't inform the public most of the money committed to Say Yes Guilford is coming in over a series of years, even though they are going to start paying out next year, which appears to be unsustainable.
