Just this week, News & Record editorials railed against the state legislature’s overreach on the so-called bathroom bill. They blamed representatives from small towns for trying to hold progressive Greensboro back, but the editors did not direct any of their ire to Greensboro representatives John Blust and John Hardister who also voted for the bill. According to the News & Record, this bad legislation was the fault of those representatives from other towns, lest editors have to step on the toes of those they had previously endorsed."
