A few questions for the City of Charlotte concerning HB2

From the ordinance as passed by Charlotte;

How is the City supposed to be assured of the non-discrimination of a vendor?

How is the City going to verify non-discrimination of firms the City does business with as to whether or not the firm's vendors, suppliers, subcontractors and commercial customer's discriminate?

How is the City going to ensure the following passage won't be used to extort gains by regulators or someone else who could stand to gain?

"may", unless campaign contributions are more forthcoming?

Who get to have fun with so much leverage over contractors?

Anyone's nephews involved?

It is well known that connected crony capitalists who swap 'contributions' for government bids keep those who get the subcontractor and vendor gigs on a not so fair bidding/handing out business under taxpayer contract regime.

Did HB2 solidify crony capitalistic behaviour or set up whoever is in charge of allocating business in the driver's seat?

Do X or the City imposes Y?

Who is the decider of what?

Exactly who sits on "the conciliation division of the community relations committee", and how does one get appointed to such a powerful post?

Who was slated to serve on the "the conciliation division of the community relations committee"?

"This section does not apply to a private club or other establishment not, in fact, open to the public."
.
.
So what does that mean?

Does it mean open season in locker rooms and showers?

From the Charlotte ordinance attached;

"This section does not apply to a private club or other establishment not, in fact, open to the public."
.
.
So what does that mean?

Does it mean open season in locker rooms and showers?

Is a school locker room open to the public?

How about a YMCA shower?

Was Charlotte City Council's intent to let guys into girls showers and locker rooms?

Does it apply to a city owned swimming pool shower and locker room?

The ordinance seems to target contractors paid with taxpayer monies.

Isn't the above covered by existing indecency/predator oriented law?
.
.
"Does it apply to a city owned swimming pool shower and locker room?"

I would think a City owned swimming pool locker and showers are open to the public.

It's limited, but on that I would agree it would be a problem.

Not a bathroom with stalls.
