DGI Contract Scandal Goes Full Retard, Corrupt and Reprehensible

"The City Council will meet Monday to talk about who should run downtown's business district.

The council will hold a public hearing on the matter at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council's chamber at City Hall."

Margaret Moffett
Nancy Vaughan and Mike Barber's stooge at the News and Record

The obvious objective
was to have a full public hearing concerning lining Zack Matheny's pockets
on a Monday afternoon, when just about no one could show up
to watch City Council betray Greensboro's taxpayers for their former colleague
who wants to profit from a 'non-profit', like Mike Barber, Jim Melvin, Nancy Vaughan,
Mary Vigue, Susan Schwartz, Donnie Turlington, Mo Greene, Yvonne Johnson
Zack Matheny and a bunch of other parasites involved with City of Greensboro politics

"UPDATE: Eric Robert called Scoop to say he thinks it's "despicable to have a public hearing at 1:30 on a Monday." It's happening at a time when most people are at work and can't attend. The decision is "contrary to everything democracy is about," he said, and shows that the City Council has an agenda."

After misleading News and Record readers
concerning the legality of Tuesday's extracurricular back door meeting,
Margaret Moffett has now been reduced to stenography of City press releases

"ANOTHER UPDATE (6:18 p.m.): The City Council has changed the date of its discussion on the downtown contract to its regularly scheduled meeting on June 7. That meeting starts at 5:30 p.m."

This is what a crooked political body reads like

"City council consideration of D.G.I. contract award moved again, now June 7th"
