What sense does it make that US financial markets be bumping up against all time highs while corporate earnings are falling precipitously as the US dollar rises above its peers, making our exports more expensive?

It doesn't

Why would Morgan Stanley say there is only "5% Of Possible Upside vs 27% Of Downside" for the S&P 500 going forward with pro-forma (fake) earnings metrics?;
