In his comment to my article, Yes Weekly Supports East Greensboro Performing Arts Center, columnist and editor, Jordan Green of Yes Weekly writes, ...Any investment has to have a decent chance of success because if it fails it will lead to more discouragement and complacency. So I need to be convinced that not only does Phillip Avenue have the need, but it also has the potential."
Jordan makes a great point but no one from the City of Greensboro has even bothered to study placing a performing arts center at any location other than downtown. How can we have a feasibility study that doesn't include other areas of Greensboro including the area inside the little green circle? To do so is gross negligence on the part of the Greensboro City Council.
