Greensboro developer Marty Kotis has indicated plans to build a brewery. I don't yet know when or where but I'm hoping he will build it in East Greensboro, inside the Urban Loop where he is already heavily invested as manufacturing jobs are the types of long term investments Greensboro needs most.

UPDATE: So I'm a little behind the news curve, Marty's Pig Pounder Brewery should be opening any day now and it's not in East Greensboro but it is located inside Greensboro. So hey, 4 stars at least. And that's not an indication of the quality of the beer as my doctors don't allow me to drink.
