More Details On The Mayor's Bankruptcy

This time I have the actual documents.

Main filing.

Notice Change of Division.

Credit Counseling.

Notice of Deficient Filing.

So it appears Greensboro Mayor Robert Virginius Perkins III attempted to hide his bankruptcy (the sin of omission) from the Citizens of Greensboro by filing outside of the proper jurisdiction. But as the linked documents above clearly indicate, the Federal court rejected his claims so he must now file in the Middle District. He also failed to include 12 items required by the courts.

Remind me should I ever consider hiring his girlfriend, the bankruptcy lawyer that I might want to hire someone who knows how to fill out the forms.

From my helper:

"Mayor Robbie Perkins listed back taxes owed of $169k federal and $26k state in his Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing."

" Mayor Robbie Perkins listed $10.8 million in liabilities against assets of only $1.4 million, mostly real property (i.e. land)."

Sounds to me like the Mayor has been running a scam that finally caught up with him. But considering all the documents he left out of his filing that could well be another of his many lies. Remember, if his lips are moving...

Update: City of Greensboro documents bring to question if Mayor Perkins has listed his assets correctly on Federal forms.
