So it appears Skip Alston has been able to borrow and pay off several loans from the City of Greensboro while becoming a very well to do individual at the same time. And all the while Greensboro's tax dollars have been tied up in loans to a private individual when the same money could have been going towards economic development for the entire community or reducing the tax burden depending on which side of the line you prefer to stand.
Take your pick, I'll go with either over using the community chest as the elite's private savings and loan piggy bank.
