Mr Alston is the retired 20 year Chairman of the Guilford County Board of Commissioners and as the agent for the developers stands to "earn" no less than $150,000 in commissions for this one deal alone.
Mr Alston is also pressuring the Greensboro City Council for grants to fund the privately owned International Civil Rights Museum of which Mr Alston is part owner along with NC House member, Earl Jones and others.
