According to Site Selection Magazine, the Greensboro- High Point MSA is #4 in the nation in the number of empty industrial parks with the Greensboro-High Point having 35 empty projects under way and first place, Omaha-Council Bluffs having 48.
And we still have the 2nd hungriest population in the nation, a poverty rate of over 21% and the highest unemployment of any comparable city in North Carolina.
Maybe building empty industrial parks isn't the answer?
