Doug Clark Shows His Pom-poms

News & Record Editor Doug Clark dresses in drag and writes:

"Site Selection magazine ranks Greensboro-High Point fourth nationally in 2013 among metro areas with population from 200,000 to 1 million for number of corporate facility investment projects.

It credits Gso-HP with 35 projects, compared to 48 for category leader Omaha-Council Bluffs, Neb."

My reply:

"That's the biggest bunch of bunk yet. Site Selection Magazine is a Commercial Real Estate Broker, their primary business is highlighting and selling commercial real estate. The figures reflected in their "study" only show that Greensboro has more EMPTY commercial properties available than most other comparable cities. Thus the reasoning behind, in your words, " since our metro area is not leading the state in job creation."

You know you really don't look your best in that cheerleader's dress and pom-poms. Try putting on some pants."

They really are pathetic when they try to convince us that building more empty industrial parks will solve our economic woes. Here's the Site Selection article Doug referred to.
