More Bad Luck For Heritage House Refugees

A Heritage House refugee forwarded me the following e-mail today after less than a month in a rented home:

"I hope everything is going well for you. This e-mail is to inform you that your residence at XXXX REDACTED Street has been put on the market for sale by the owner. Don't be alarmed if you see a sign in the yard."

Seriously, this is how the City of Greensboro helps people. This Heritage House refugee owns the home the City of Greensboro tossed her out of and now less than a month later is about to be tossed out again. And while I've been telling all 9 Greensboro City Council members about this person's situation no one from the city has come to call. If this is how Greensboro helps people I hope Greensboro never helps me.

You know, a question that just came to mind is: How many Heritage House refugees were relocated into properties owned by the very same slum lords who were in part responsible for the deplorable conditions at Heritage House?
