Last night I read and commented on an article in the Greensboro News & Record titled, Challenge to businesses results in 1,560 new hires using the moniker, Greensboro Performing Arts Center:
"Hard evidence please? Whose to say these same companies didn't also fire the same number they hired? How are we to know the Chamber of Commerce, aka Greensboro Economic Development Alliance, Action Greensboro, Greensboro Credit Bureau, Downtown Greensboro Inc., etc, etc, etc (They really are one in the same) http://greensboropartnership.blogspot.com/2012/05/exposing-greensboro-pa... How are we to know they are responsible for this increase in employment? Because they sent the N&R a press release claiming responsibility?
How about I send you a press release telling you I walked on the surface of the moon last night? Would you print that too? What ever happened to reporters checking their sources or at least noting the crap their printing is in reality, an infomercial? What ever happened to journalism?"
I checked our facebook page, Real Progress For Greensboro where I posted a link to the article last night to be sure of the title and there it was, Challenge to businesses results in 1,560 new hires.
So this morning I find what I think is a new article that is titled, Openings outnumber skilled workers that appears to be the exact same article I read last night. So I click on the comments and low and behold. My exact same comment, time stamp and all:

Guess I was right about the damage control. Isn't it about time Greensboro's elites answered the charges and told us the truth?
