The News & Record stays true to form today, taking up for past mistakes on the part of Greensboro City Council and the promotion of urban sprawl in their editorial, Fork In The Road. While neighborhoods like Reedy Fork were being built, neighborhoods only a few miles away were emptying out falling first to slum lords and later just empty as Greensboro's realtors who earn commissions based on the value of the houses they sell steer all their customers towards newer more expensive houses where many of these same customers now find themselves underwater as the continue to promote the world's largest and most ongoing failed economic model.
