Proving once again we've no need to give away millions to Roy Carroll and other developers or give away hundreds of acres of publicly owned land to attract business, use city tax dollars to buy up private property in speculative bids, nor fund non profits who rip us off with management fees and pass through charges, the News & Record reports today that Alamance County has hooked a 1400 acre fish.
So when is the Greensboro City Council going to pull the plug on the funding for all the Greensboro Partnership "non profits" and teach them to swim on their own? After all, if fiscally smaller counties like Alamance can do it then it appears the "partnership" is only getting in our way.
And did I mention it's bigger than any of the super sites Mayor Robbie "down on his luck" Perkins has proposed?
