Greensboro101, Better Late Than Never

Me, that is. I just wanted to make mention that Roch Smith Jr upgraded Greensboro101.com yesterday and it appears to be a very good thing. Oh sure, like all things new and improved we'll have to retrain ourselves as to how to get the most out of it but where else can you combine local blogs, Twitter feeds, Youtube videos, mainstream media and more? You can even post to Greensboro101.com making it the true media hub of Greensboro bar none.

Truth is, I've been fascinated with the automated aggregation of content since I first learned of its existence and Roch and Greensboro101 have long been leaders and innovators in the field. How he does it I haven't a clue even though Roch has allowed me to look inside of some of his creations. But you can know one thing for sure, Greensboro is a lot more aware for having Greensboro101.com and the entire City owes a debt of gratitude to Roch for building and maintaining it all these years.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled trashing of politicians and those shills who suck up to them for their own personal gain. Too bad the "geniuses" at the News & Record weren't bright enough to make their new website compatible with Greensboro101.
