Sent the following e-mail to Frank Mickens, Evening Anchor at WFMY TV2 here in Greensboro over the weekend:
"Can a GPAC put food on grocery store shelves and money in the pockets of Greensboro residents? A downtown Greensboro aquarium can and will: http://greensboroaquarium.blogspot.com/2013/01/aquaponics-in-downtown-greensboro.html
And building it will cost the City of Greensboro less money than GPAC will cost.

Heard back from Frank today:
"Hey Billy.
I’m aware of this effort.
We’ll have to wait until there’s more steam behind the idea. We don’t want to be the engine driving the effort. We’d rather cover a movement that’s got a life of its own.

So I replied back to Frank:
"Frank,
I find it interesting that WFMY was more than happy to be a part of the effort to drive GPAC into the public light even though GPAC has yet to have a life of it's own.
Examples: Our Facebook Page after 1 month and ZERO Dollars spent 270 likes http://www.facebook.com/GreensboroAquarium?ref=ts&fref=ts
GPAC after a year and almost $1 Million Dollars spent 257 likes http://www.facebook.com/pages/Support-the-Downtown-Greensboro-Performing-Arts-Center/336915959662959?ref=ts&fref=ts
I know it isn't the best of metrics but it is the metric that is MOST favorable to GPAC.
