High School Volunteers Needed for GYC Carnival
GREENSBORO, NC (March 25, 2013) – Greensboro Youth Council’s annual GYC Carnival is May 7-12 at the Greensboro Coliseum and high school volunteers are needed to help with the event. Volunteers, who will be trained in the areas of business, booths or operations, can earn ride passes, free carnival admission, and other incentives for their service.
Interested Guilford County teens must sign up by Friday, April 19, by visiting www.gyccarnival.com and clicking on the “Staffing” link to see what jobs are available and to sign up for shifts.

GYC Camille’s Closet Shopping Day is April 2
GREENSBORO, NC (March 25, 2013) – Teenage girls interested in attending their high school proms, but unable to afford a formal dress and accessories are invited to Greensboro Youth Council’s (GYC) Shopping Day from 1-5 pm Tuesday, April 2, at the GYC office, 501 Yanceyville St. During that time, donated dresses and accessories will be given to girls for free as part of GYC’s Camille’s Closet project.
