All communications involving elected and high ranking appointed city officials would be posted on-line in real time so that there would be no question and no need to ask for release of public records. That one act would have saved the City of Greensboro well over $200,000 so far this year. $200,000 that could have been put to use on things Greensboro really needs.
But instead, Greensboro's leaders will point their fingers at those of us who dare to ask to know what State and Federal law says we have every right to know. Why? Because it's your money and they really don't care how much it's costing you.
