If Greensboro's Leaders Were Really Interested In Economic Development 30

They would work to develop a group health insurance program that all of Greensboro businesses could join to insure their own employees and their family members then insure the City of Greensboro's employees in the same program giving Greensboro's business community the bargaining power of hundreds of thousands of members.

Doing so would reduce the costs to employers, reduce the cost to workers, reduce the costs to the City of Greensboro, keep more money in our local economy, make local businesses more profitable, lower taxes, keep our local workforce healthier...

And if there's some sort of State or Federal law against these things... Greensboro has lobbiests in Raliegh and Washington. How many other US cities could gain from doing the same?

You know, if Greensboro's "leaders" really cared about economic development they would do these things.

Please, if you want to make a difference you need only spread the word about what myself and others are doing here. Forward my blog posts to everyone you know, get in touch,  friend me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter Together we can take Greensboro back from those who believe economic development only means fattening the wallets of the elitist status quo.

And before you ask, no, I'm not running for office, I'm knocking down barriers to make way to put honest men and women, liberals and conservatives alike, in positions of power locally. And if you'll spread the word it can happen.
