Downtown Greensboro Curfew Falls Short Again

At 4:56 AM this date Greensboro Police Officers responded to 376 East Lindsay Street reference an assault.  Upon arrival officers found the victim, Herman Eugene Parson, BM, 43 YOA, suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen.   The suspect, Amado Melendez, H/M, 44 YOA, was located a short distance away.  Mr. Parson was transported to Moses Cone Hospital where he is presently under treatment.  Mr. Melendez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault inflicting serious injury and placed in the Guilford County Jail under a $25,000.00 bond.

Central and Southern District patrol and CSI responded to the scene.  CID was notified.
