Greensboro Must Clamp Down ON ALE Violations To Curb Violent Crime

It's my understanding that North Carolina state law regulates establishments that serve alcohol:  Last Call is 2 a.m.  On weekdays and Saturday alcohol can be sold beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday alcohol sales begin at noon. So why is the following even possible in the first place?

– At approximately 5:00 AM this date Greensboro Police Officers responded to 2206 Stamey Street, Club Turnup, reference a discharge of firearm.  Upon arrival officers found that shots had been fired into the main doors of the establishment while a function was taking place.  No injuries were found and no suspects located.

Investigation is ongoing.
