Greensboro Needs More K-9s

I just had the pleasure of watching GPD K-9 officers chase down and apprehend a suspect across the street from my house in record time and without firing a shot. No, it wasn't a riot even though more than 11 police officers were involved. One way the Greensboro City Council could better protect our citizens is to increase the use of K-9 officers throughout the city. And being they don't ask for paychecks or file lawsuits against the City there would no doubt be an enormous cost savings over hiring more officers.

That said, considering that it required over 11 human officers and multiple K-9s to apprehend 1 barefoot, limping suspect, more human officers are needed as well.
