CITY OF GREENSBORO
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Greensboro, NC (July 09, 2013) at 5:24 P.M.
Police were dispatched to 1103 E. Martin Luther King Jr Drive,
regarding an assault. Upon arrival officers found the victim, Joshua
Jones Jr (46 years of age), suffering from what appeared to be a
non-life threatening stab wound. The incident resulted from an
altercation between the victim and Johnny A. King whom is 39 years of
age. Mr. King was later located in the area of Arlington Street and
Andrew Street. He was arrested and transported to Guilford County Jail
without incident. The appropriate charges are pending at this time.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment of his injury.
The investigation is still on going.
