"If all city council requests for information and the provided answers were posted to the web (as the City is doing for non-incumbent council candidates), we wouldn't have this problem.
Perhaps Ms. Vaughan will suggest this at the next council meeting."
If you're not up to speed, Roch was referring to his recent post, City Manager confirms unequal treatment for candidates, in particular and the secretive state of crony capitalism and greed that exists overall in Greensboro government.
To which I replied,
"Perhaps, but as you will remember from the meeting on public records which you, I and Councilwoman Vaughan all attended some months back, I suggested that very thing and to date no effort on Ms Vaughan's part has been made to make that the law. Months later, not one mention before City Council has been made by Councilwoman Vaughan or any other member of Council.
It's apparently only a problem when Councilwoman Vaughan is the one left out of the loop."
Otherwise Nancy Barakat Vaughan would have brought it to vote at the following Council meeting back in May.
