As of this posting George Hartzman leads in the race for Greensboro mayor with 37% of respondents, Nancy Vaughan is second with 28.8% and Robme Perkins is a distant 3rd with 1.5% barely beating out 4th place finisher, Somebody Else. I Don't Know brings up the rear with 5% of the vote.
Last night's events won't help public perception of the Mayor either. And the youth vote? Nancy and Robbie both gave that away last night as well.
As I said a year ago, these people are more concerned with what they can steal between now and December 31st than they are with being reelected. It should be the first order of business of the newly elected council should 5 new members be elected to order an independent 3rd party investigation into everything the current council has done during its time in office.
