Greensboro Gets What Greensboro Wanted

Well the primary results are in and there's no need for me to tell you who won. There's also no need for me to tell you who will win next month. The only question remaining is will George Hartzman's supporters support Nancy Vaughan or will they simply not cast a ballot. It really makes no difference if Nancy or Robbie wins, we've for all intents and purposes the same city council as we had before and nothing will change.

It's what you wanted, Greensboro. You said so when you stayed home instead of speaking out at city council meetings. You said so when you said wait until the elections and show them how the voters feel. You said so when you sat on your fat asses bitching in your Facebook political groups while myself and a handful of others were begging you to meet with us and form real groups face to face.

And if you think you're going to change it in the next 30 days you're all bigger fools than even I thought you were 2 years ago when I started begging you to get off your sorry asses and do something about it.

Goodbye, find someone else to tell to "Keep up the good fight," 'cause you're too sorry, lazy and lame to do it for yourselves. Quite frankly, I'm tired of working for people who don't care enough to do it for themselves and I really don't care if they tax you all to death. (I only pay taxes on a '91 Toyota, I'll survive just fine.) After all, based on how Greensboro voted, that's exactly what Greensboro wanted.
