Roch and I recently told you the story of how local leaders blew $Millions to fund FedEx only to discover that 15 years later zero new jobs were added. Well as it turns out, Washington, DC. watch dog researcher, Greg LeRoy of Good Jobs First has Greensboro's FedEx project listed among his list of Megadeals, a list of scams pulled off by corporations in the name of economic development.
Remember: our current mayor Robbie Perkins, mayor elect Nancy Vaughan, Councilwoman Johnson and Mike Barber all voted to fund FedEx.
