Like I've Said For Years: It Doesn't Stay In East Greensboro

For too many years the City of Greensboro has ignored economic conditions and crime in East Greensboro and for too many years I have been saying that what happens in East Greensboro will spill over into the rest of Greensboro. Take for instance, 18 year old Eric Lanorris Watkins Jr. who lives at 1020 Willard St just one block from my east Greensboro home.

"The defendants in the case face multiple charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, burglary, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit a felony."

According to Greensboro Police, Mr Watkins is part of an organized crime group responsible for no less than 102 criminal charges and robberies all over Greensboro in just over 1 week.

So the next time you Irving Park types decide you want to build something pretty for downtown, just remember you aren't safe either and won't be until east Greensboro is safe and prosperous. And you know, the saddest part is you're too dumb to understand that making east Greensboro safe and prosperous would actually make Greensboro's elites even richer than you are now.
