Rolland Trout, GPAC's Newest Shill

I noticed in the comments at this N&R article that the GPAC has a new shill in Roland Trout, a former South Carolina resident who came here last July to take the job of Director of Strategic Partnerships at Morrisette Paper. As is too often the case, the newcomers come to town looking to fit in with the local "movers and shakers" willing to prostitute themselves in any way they can in the hopes of earning favor and rising among the local elites.

Among Mr Trout's lies thus far:

"Fay, you aren't paying for anything. People who believe in this have put up $35 million, the rest will be a bond."

Greensboro City Councilman Tony Wilkins called Mr Trout on his lie:

"Roland says: "Fay, you aren't paying for anything. People who believe in this have put up $35 million, the rest will be a bond".
That is not an accurate statement."

Mr Trout continues to spread lies:

"Billy, I'm certain demolition work was included in the amount calculated to build the Performing Arts Center. DH Griffin is a good corporate citizen and is likely donating part of that service."

Mr Trout will morn the day he crawled out of his little pond. Greensboro's elites don't care about you, Mr Trout, they're simply reeling you in until they can cut you up to chum the waters for the next poor sucker fish who is fool enough to swim their way.

Don't come to my town attempting to participate in an effort to rob my neighbors and I and not expect to be gunned down. I didn't go to South Carolina to try and rob you.
