"Have you ever seen it snow like this in Greensboro?"
Seriously, she said that.
To answer Ms Hoffmann's exceedingly dumb question: More times than us Greensboro natives care to remember. It tends to go in cycles with several years of none or almost no snow and then several years of snow storms that are sometimes 18" per storm.
But then I guess that wasn't in the promotional economic development literature Ms Hoffmann read when she was looking for a new city to rape and pillage.
Update: Ms Hoffman updates:
"The 2000 snow storm seems to be the granddaddy everyone remembers. We lived on Kemp Road West; my husband and I retrieved our cross country skis from the attic and went skiing in our neighborhood."
How could she not have remembered a snow storm that remained on the ground in piles until April?
