Why No Reply from DGI?

It's been 21 days since I requested Downtown Greensboro Inc send me minutes of their last meeting as required by their most recent contract with the City of Greensboro. I also sent the same request to the City and was assured I would be forwarded the minutes as soon as the City received a copy. One can only assume the City of Greensboro has also been left out of the loop.

Why? Have they something to hide? Minutes are written as the meeting takes place. Has the City of Greensboro passed yet another law for which there are no repercussions for breaking said law? Such actions won't fare well against the efforts of John Lomax and others who are currently seeking to dismantle DGI once and for all.

Update: I'm not the only one who hasn't been given the minutes I requested.

Update 2: Wednesday, March 19, 2014, At least Sarah Healy of the City of Greensboro is doing her part:

"Billy:
I sent DGI a follow-up email yesterday regarding the meeting minutes from their last meeting. Hopefully, I will hear from them soon. If I don’t, I will give them a call.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Sarah"

Why put the very existence of a tax supported organization in jeopardy over the lawful request of a couple of bloggers? The longer it takes the less DGI officials will be believed. The fact that no one from DGI ever replied to my direct request for meeting minutes tells me their intention was to ignore me in the hopes I'd simply give up and go away. Well folks, unless you've got balls enough to put a bullet in my head that will never happen. And I'll warn you: I've shot back before and I'll do it again.
