Charlotte's Campaign Finance Woes Plague Greensboro As Well

Keith Brown's writings of the problems with campaign transparency in Charlotte that are being made public by the recent arrest of former Charlotte Mayor Cannon bring striking similarities to events in Greensboro over the course of the last few election cycles:

"Obviously Director Michael Dickerson needs to understand campaign finance and what needs to be reported on the reports that come into your office that is state law under 163-278.11"

The same is true here in Greensboro where it is not uncommon to find among candidate filings, reports with misleading, inaccurate and missing information.

It's time a few politicians and their corrupt supporters started spending time behind bars.
