The Greensboro City Council recently voted to grant almost $2 Million Dollars to developers of a downtown Wyndham hotel based on a perceived need for more hotel rooms in the area but this morning the News & Record's Kelly Poe is reporting that the 252 room Plaza Hotel & Conference Center in High Point is being concerted to furniture showrooms and condos.
Makes it kinda hard to believe the area has a shortage of hotels when hotels are being converted to show rooms to only be used twice a year.
